Used with the CFM tech spacer and the injector pod spacer, set at 14 psi, a magazine article claimed 19 mpg on a 2 wd reg cab 1500 with the 350.

I would say a wee bit of gain, depending on your driving, and what trans you have, but you should just get the whole shooting match from CFM-tech, and do it right...I dont see any benifits with just the regulator.

Power plate
Fuel pressure gauge adapter
Fuel pressure gauge
TBI rebuild kit
Adjustable regulator


Any suggestions on chasing vacuum leaks

If you are going to do all that, go ahead and pull the manifold and clean it, and replace the gaskets...that is, if you have not done so recently. You can chase vac leaks with propane or carb cleaner. Big propblem with TBI is usually the tBi base gasket its self.

Yeah...spray carb cleaner around EGr valve, vac lines, TBI base, int manifold to head surfaces, brake booster. Do you think you have a leak, or do you just want to check?

The truck seams to idle high
But this is my first (gas) V8
And it has a LouD exhaust so it's hard to tell
I have a tach I have yet to install (to cold)
