Fuel in intake but not getting into cylinders

did u pull a plug on number 1 and crank it to verify u were on comp stroke ?

The way you said you checked and set timing isn't how you do it. Find true dtc,intake and exhaust valve closed on number 1 cylinder,it comes to TDC twice for a complete cycle 1 time a valve will be open next time it won't. Now twist the distributor until the rotor points to the number 1 spark plug wire position on the distributor . Snug it down put your cap on. Make sure your wires a 18436572. It should start then you can twist the distributor tell it runs decent,now put your timing light on it.

He's got no spark then, right? I never heard of such a thing now there are two of them with the same issue. Bad distributor rotor. Check the distributor power plug. Ummm hey Matt! We're not happy in here.
