My only worry with your step up is the possible side to side flex. It looks like your bushing is not centered in the spring.

What's the Caster set at? It probably will return the steering to center well.

With everything I've have done already looking at those on your truck is going to make me redo it.

I emailed ORD for what it's worth and they said the stock front shackle is 4" hole-to-hole. Their brackets add about 1/4" lift but the main purpose is to keep the spring from hitting the frame.

I emailed ORD for what it's worth and they said the stock front shackle is 4" hole-to-hole. Their brackets add about 1/4" lift but the main purpose is to keep the spring from hitting the frame.

They must have goofed on mine. I just measured mine with a caliper before I posted.

No, you are correct that ORD makes theirs at 4.5". They told me my truck has 4" shackles from GM.

Yes they add a skiff more castor which is an improvement.
The K30's in the 80's made the shackle .5 longer for this reason I assume.

I had always heard that even K10s and K20s got the longer length shackles from the factory in 1987.
