That has been an issue with brakes since the dawn of cars.
Actually, brakes always make noise. Trick is for them to make the noise out of the range of humans. That being said, there are several ways to mitigate it. Notice I said mitigate not eliminate.
As suggested type of lining, lubrication, rotor finish/thickness, and a myriad of other things will affect it. What I do is sand the pads and rotors or if lathe is available us that, clean slides if needed and apply high temp caliper grease to the BACK of the pads on both sides, remove and grease pins, pinch down pads where they attach to the caliper. Also, harder pad material is more prone to noise, try a softer and usually cheaper pad.
There is no magic bullet for stopping the noise.
