Front bump stops

I'm doing a 4" drop on the front - 2.5" spindle, 1.5" spring - and was wondering how much, if any, you guys have been cutting off the lower control arm bump stop.

With a 1.5" drop spring, I don' think you should have to
Trim bump stop. Drop spindles should not have a bearing
On this.

After getting it together if the spring compresses enough to hit the bump stops we'll be having other issues.

i did a similar drop with 2.5 spindles and then cut springs.

i trimmed mine but i cant say how much. something like 1 to 2 inches probably. i just used a sawzall and eyballed it.
