For your absorption and contemplation I bring you a rumination of the reverie of burnt cats on toast

Also you can make upwards of 500+hp through a single 3" pipe so id say your 2.25 duals is fine for a stock 5.3. Its not about the the size of the pipe as much as its about the flow/restrictions/ and frequency of the pulses. You want the x or h to help stabilize the exhaust pulses and with the case of the x create scavenging(where one pulse helps pull the other through the pipe. Just my understanding of it anyway.

No engine wants back pressure. Stop believing that damn lie. If there is back pressure that means your exhaust is not fully exiting and thus making your intake charge less. Start thinking in terms of scavenging. Exhaust pulses pulling the next one downstream. Think two stroke engine philosophy. That is how you make torque and horsepower. Size and length of primaries is all about exhaust speed and timing of pulses.

Ok if we tie 2 cats back to back with a piece of buttered toast between them and drop them, what's the outcome? If it matters the toast is buttered on both sides.

I heard if you stick butter up a cats ass you can scavenge some burnt toast. I heard it here so it must be true.

Maybe search in the lawn mower section. 2.5" lol :buttkick:

Damn, I missed some good replies the other day!

Yes, this! Scavenging is where it's at.

if you sew the asses together they can scavenge each others poo. At that point the butter is just for flavoring. Toast or no toast but I think Ill have mine on a bagel.
