Perhaps, but he didn't even use the right technique. Specified TIG multiple times. And he MIG'd it. Honestly, I don't know how you even let something like that out of your shop. If it were mine I'd be embarrassed as hell and not let it go to the customer.Hindsight is a b with expectations vs results. Knowing the shop was new, it may have been a good idea to take some pics of what you expected the finished product to look like. I know you said you wanted it to look clean, but it sounds (and looks) like a misunderstanding.
