First time squarebody owner

Hi, new to the forum. I recently purchased an 87 GMC Sierra 1500 2wd automatic. I believe it is my favorite vehicle I've ever owned. I absolutely love this truck and am a bit obsessed with it right now. There are so many directions I could go with it but truthfully don't know where to start. Any advice, helpful hints and tips would be greatly appreciated. I've done the basic clean up stuff, wax, polish,buff, pressure wash seat, ripped out bad flooring, spray on bed liner etc.... reverse is out and there are a few spots on the body with Issues but very little rust. It runs like a top. My favorite thing so far was installing the bumper guards and bullet grille. I'll post pics. Thanks

Welcome to the obsession. As far as what you should do? It all depends on your tastes. Generally 4wd trucks are jacked up unless you want the baja look. 2wd trucks are mostly left alone or dropped. But again. It all depends on your tastes and what you like to drive. And yes, I've seen 2wd trucks jacked up and 4wd's slammed

Thank you, good info there. When I first got it I thought, leave it all stock and go for the vintage look. Then I saw all the pics of what people are doing with them and it confused me. Lol

Nice looking truck. Looks like the bumper on my Ford, I jacknifed the trailer into it.
