Hey everyone, new guy from Va checking in. I’m starting my first square body build with a 1975 GMC k25.

Thanks everyone! She’s looking pretty good so far I’ve done an engine swap, new tires, gauge cluster bezel, carb and fresh leaf springs.
Im planning doing body mount bushing, kick down cable, trans oil filter, exhaust, buff the paint, polish some chrome, door/window seals and once I find a grill I’ll be putting that on as well.

“GXPWEASEL” They go through the bed side so you can secure the camper on the back. I won’t be putting a camper on it so I might take them off. Or just polish them up and leave them I’m not sure yet.

Welcome from Texas nice looking truck. You definitely wanna hook up the kick down cable. Just hooked up mine and made a world of a difference.

Welcome and nice truck. The only other I would do to the body is change the mirrors.
They take away from the lines of the truck but just my opinion.

I've heard that the kickdown isn't needed. It will shift fine with or without.
What kind of difference did you notice?
