Decided to filler up (pure gas) before the annual petroleum companies summer run up profits increase. Good thing I don’t drive it daily or I would have to get a second job. How much to fill your tank(s)? Or, what’s the most you have spent?

I usually fill up my daily driver Ram when I hit 1/4 tank. Last two fill ups have been ~$130 of diesel.

That's less than Washington. Fuel is $4 here. I use the 85 during the summer to haul the watercraft. Launch is crappy anything low profile doesn't work. Costs about $40 for every trip. Would rather buy fuel than a have $1200 truck payment.

Fuel is 3.20 across the border in Idaho, too far to be cost effective.

They just added a 46 cent per gallon tax to pay for green projects here, gotta love it.

Gas was around $4 gallon a month ago because main refinery was shut down for maintenance. After finishing maintenance and back online, prices went down but it won’t last long.

@fast 99 it may be $3.20 in northern Idaho, but it's hanging at $3.60 something down here in South western Idaho.

40gal tank on the suburban, usually never let it get lower than a 30gal fill up to take it easy on the fuel pump (TBI). here in Kansas City right now gas is about $3.10 regular to $3.50 premium. so it is about $100, give or take, to fillerup depending on which flavor.

I try to keep my one 20 gallon tank in my 84 C2500 at the half full point. Gas here in North Central Arizona has gone up almost a dollar a gallon in the last month. Everyone is about $3.89 for the grocery store stations, to $4.19 for the brand names(76, Shell, Chevron).

That makes sense. With our green tax yours would be $4+. I was in Coeurdalene Tuesday. Got fuel at Exxon for 3.25. Walmart had it at 3.19 but had already filled up.

Last time I drove the ol' girl late summer of last year, it cost me $175 to fill up. $9.90/gallon for 110 octane at the pump. Of course it gets blended down with ethanol free 93 a few points, but in my house we measure in smiles per gallon. Lol

Aside from the obvious question of how you got almost 43 gallons in to 2 tanks (you must have a blazer or burb tank as one of them), that is a screamin deal from where I sit.
Couldn’t buy 87 octane at the cheapest Wallyworld in King County for that much!
