I know there are two different bolt patterns. My fan clutch has both the small and large ones.

I am putting an 87 or 88 engine and the engine before was a 73.
Was their a third bolt pattern from water pump to fan clutch?

My fan clutch doesnt like the small or large bolt patterns and before I go buy a $50 fan clutch that isnt bad, I'd like to make sure there isnt something I am missing.

(I thought about making the holes a little bigger, but I would hate to put it off center. Unless the shaft will center it on the hub.)

Im going to make the holes a little bigger. The water pump shaft is tight to the fan clutch, so it will be centered. Thanks for the info, I just wanted to make sure I wasnt being an idiot.
