It's been well over a month since I posted this;. Still have not pinpointed where smell is coming from. I am thinking it is a gas smell instead of exhaust and still have no leaks and can't figure it out.
Can there be a possibility it could be coming from the tank vent charcoal canister? I don't know how to tell if it is bad or not. Thinking it is the original.
Possibly be a bad fuel cap? I have replaced the rubber seal but could not find the exact cap like I have. Tank and all rubber lines were replaced 2 years ago.
