Going back to manifolds on my sbc as the shorty headers leak constantly and make messing with plugs impossible. Anyone know where to find collectors and flanges that fit the stock manifolds with the donut gaskets? I’m looking to fab up a 2 into 1 exhaust so I have everything else (pipe, y pipe, muffler, etc.) but all of the collectors I’m finding are the flat style ones for headers.

To what I had removed from my 76 and 79, yes. Only difference is those have that ‘pilot’ to hold that donut gasket in place, the ones I had removed from my trucks were just bell mouthed, no pilot.

So visually they seem to match, got a picture of the manifolds you intend on using?

This is what came off of my 76

And if the ones linked above are incorrect for your application, looks like that same seller offers many variations and types of downpipe stubs.

Those manifolds are basically what I’m going with except mine will have an o2 sensor port on the driver’s side (tbi engine). Those bellmouths were what I was looking for but the eBay ones with the pilots above might be better I’m thinking

I cut off the material below flange on the manifolds of my K5 to have a flat sealing surface. I used a fat flange with a flat gasket. Works great, no leaks.

You should seriously consider some Hookers this point ;) 10X better than the OEM style. Better in every way.

I considered them but they're over 2x the price of stock manifolds and this truck rarely sees anything over 3k rpm
