We're going to add HUD and Homelink whenever he gets the cash to get the parts.

That is nice! If he can afford a car like that he should be able to gather the cash pretty quickly:) what options are on it?

hmm Where is this 700 miles away from OKC? I know a guy that has a 79 shortwide 4x4 with SM465 set up that he is supposed to sell me cheap since its a total rusted out bucket. I want to go get it to convert one of my 4x4 to SM465. He is in MO. Maybe I can go get that, and stop by and have John take me for a ride in some of his toys !!!

I'm about 100 miles east of Missouri and about 25 miles north of Ft. Campbell Ky.
Might as well bring a helmet too, It would be a toss up as to which would be quickest to 100 mph.

Had this one on the dyno last year and made 94 hp and 96 lbft to the ground. Weighs about 700 lbs and you can ride two up all day long at any speed you can get away with.

I forget the name of the city, but I mapquested it once. I remember its more to the west side of MO, and about in the middle as far as N and S. It was a 5hr drive if I recall.

How many CC's is that? it seems like it would have more HP, I seem to remember my R6 having 120 hp stock?!

1520 cc's. Most any sport bike will have more peak hp than the Valkyrie, but as with cars, torque is what gets you moving down the road. The torque starts down low and just keeps coming while being extremely smooth. The R6 is not a bike I would want to load up and then do a 700 mile day in the saddle. I sure would like to have an R6 to ride the Tail of the Dragon over in the Tennessee mountains though.

I made the mistake of trying to road trip the R6 every month. It was comfortable for about 1 hour and then painfull as hell. One time I spent 5 hours on it and by the time I arrived I needed a couple days to heal.

When your tank holds 15 bucks worth of gas and you have a few extra hundred bucks that urge will hit. Cant help it, you just take off and go somewhere new. Especially when the weather is warm. There is no better feeling than just getting on a bike and taking off on your own.

I have a Boulevard C50, 805CC, that I've spent 8 hours plus riding on. *Owie* I should have known better. After 2 hours on that bike it feels like I've been kicked in the nuts.
