Electric fuel pump on dual tanks?

did you use a fuel pressure gauge on your system?

Yes you will need a fuel pressure reg or u will overflow your carb.

A regulator with a return is what I'm going to be running think its easier on the pumps

Guess my next question is. whats the advantages and disadvantages between a mechanical and electrical pump. i found a mechanical pump that pumps 110 gph which is the same as the electrical one i was looking at. with the mechanical pump it would work out to way cheaper.

As per the name pumps will pump better than they suck. the further back you can put the pump the better. Also when a pump sucks it can create vacuum causing vapor lock. the harder the pump is sucking the greater the chance of vapor lock.
