El Camino headers on a C10?

I know it's easier to fit car headers on trucks but just seeing if anyone has taken long tubes meant for an el Camino (mid 70's) and put them on their square? Can get a brand new set from a buddy for a case of beer. Might just get them and see anyway. My welder and I do get along so it shouldn't be a huge issue but doing fix sections on shiny pipes makes me cringe a tad.

I've noticed a few people on here are running those Chevelle headers on their trucks.

I have chevelle 3/4 length headers on mine. They fit very well an aren't too terrible to change the plugs on.

What years chevelles work on a 2wd square? I hate the shorties I have on mine , PITA to change plugs .

I used Malibu (70’s) long tube headers on my 81 they fit perfect and clear everything but the trans crossmember gets in the way of the exhaust. I used an aftermarket crossmember to give the clearance needed. They tuck up real nice perfect for lowered trucks.
