I am considering an LS swap into my 77 half ton and saw this EFI pump lit on TV the other day. Has anyone tried one of these?

I bought one for my '77 when I installed Edelbrock's throttlebody EFI. For me it was way easier to just do that then to swap out BOTH gas tanks along with 2 electric fuel pumps in each tank.
I thought they charged a little too much for it- but it works. I installed it on the radiator support between the headlight and the radiator on the passenger side. Right where the old coolant recovery tank was. It was old and cracked anyway.
For a new coolant recovery tank I bought one off of a mid 80's chevy and put it on the passenger wheel well. Apparently the inner wheel wells were shaped slightly different between the years. I had to use some spacers to get it to sit level.

Thanks for the insight. I am about to start an LS swap into my 77 K10. I think in the end I will install a 89-91 blazer tank behind the rear axle and do away with the saddle tanks. This should keep the pluming and wiring a bit simpler and cleaner. Even if I used the Edelbrock sump kit, I would still need a lift pump.
