Anyone have any experience with the eastwood color and clear? Longevity, ease of application and what not. If not no biggie I can always go get some PPG or Dupont from down the street.

Remember that you get what you pay for. I would choose either PPG or Dupont.

I've always heard the Eastwood products were good quality. IIRC, they're not all that cheap either.

Eastwood is a good budget paint. If you are going to use your truck as a DD and it will sit outside, I suggest using a better one like PPG.

I'm really certain Eastwood, and Summit are both Kirker, which makes good paint. I get mine from www.smartshoppersinc.com

The real trick is to use a two stage paint. Single stage paint is cheaper for a reason...it won't last in the sun. Go with a two stage and apply multiple coats of clear, color sanding the final coat of clear once cured.
