Dumbo mirror spring clip

Pulled a mirror to clean it and replace gasket. Spring clip is rusted past use. I haven't been able to find one online. Either unobtainium or I'm searching the wrong thing. Ideas?

Heh, I just checked LMC for replacement mirror assemblies and the price is within reach. Can anyone comment on the quality of these? Looking for replacement parts and replacing rivets may be more work than its worth.

But I am still interested in parts. My mirrors are in pretty good shape. Would be a shame to discard them over one or two little parts.
