DRL module location and DRL issue

And vehicle owners are required to keep them in working order even if parts are obsolete and no longer available??? [smh as I walk away]

Required to pass a safety inspection. The previous owner installed a set of LED lights with built in DRL LEDS. I will just wired them up to a 12v ignition power source.

If you can't find the module, I wonder if you could wire from the ignition straight to the relay. Maybe put a toggle switch on it if you like.

Right? I have a 1990 V2500 and there's a slot for a fuse to exist but no prongs or anything hooked up to it. No mention in the haynes or chilton either. Maybe they just made the fuse box universal and neglected the US vehicles? That or I guess I'll be surprised to find portions of it while digging around one day.
