Another day, another question!

I went to put the weather stripping seals on and nothing seems to be lining up 100%...

It's my fault as I made the mistake of having the body shop remove all the old rubber for paint and dropped of a new complete Precision kit to replace everything. I picked it up and things were 1/2 done, and the 1/2 that was looks like they put the new guy on it.

That being said, I'm not sure how the exterior window beltline is supposed to fit? The way it snapped in, the rounded side fit inside the door sheetmetal...which I can see might be correct as the window would push it against the door to seal it...AND it rides up the door felt channel to seal on the inside. However I could also see it fitting over the door sheetmetal to create the seal. I looked for an installation video but didn't find one.

Unfortunately I think this is only the beginning of my weatherstripping problems...

The rubber lip on the outside of the outside window bottom seal laps over the top edge of the window opening/sheet metal. If that’s what you’re referring to.
And fwiw, every other seal, the side window channel felt, wing windows and windshield/back glass all seemed too long at first but they all fit eventually, once you consciously make an effort to not “stretch” them during install. Windshield gasket was by far the worst. Initially seemed like it was a few inches too long. It isn’t…

Post some pics of the weatherstrips you have concerns about. Easier to give advice when we can see what's going on.

Windshield weather strip is a real pain to install. You have to work it in the corners like hell. After a few weeks it shrinks/sets and fits like it should.
