was wondering if the spray dyes that some of the vendors sell is worth it on redoing door panels, does it last, do I have to worry about scratches, peeling, fading, anything like that or am I better off just replacing them...other than being stained a little and faded, there in pretty good shape.

I've painted them before. Make sure to use TSP (trisodium phosphate) to clean them before any paint.

I used the maroon one on my Monte... I think it came out great! My whole interior was all gray and faded and I used the PlastiKote Fabric Paint. I was very impressed with the results and it doesn't bleed off.

Prep is the absolute key regardless of what you use. SEM is the best imo

SEM is the best, If your painting plastic and scratch it it is going to show? you can't dye plastic.

I painted junkyard armrests on a '59 years ago that still look good with SEM.

SEM Is good too but the Blue color isn't quite "Original" And hard to find most of the time including the other colors
