Does anyone know where this goes?

I have a 84 k10 with a 350, I was working on fixing a rear freeze plug and when I put everything back together I found this just laying on the ground... I know it’s not the throttle return spring for sure, any ideas on where this goes?

Clutch fork spring I believe.

From the clutch fork forward to a hole in the chassis.

is it like 1/4 inch coil or larger like 5/8 inch if its smaller ad say brake spring if larger could be clutch return spring or could just be spare parts from a 30 year past job

I'm thinking brake drum. There always seem to be spare ones in the rebuild kit.
