Did 86 silverado come with 305 and 700R4??

Very possible. I know a lot of 305's came in them from the factory, and my '87 has the 700r4.

305 and 700r4 was the most common. Up to 85 some still came with th350c. All suburbans had the 5.7

You could not get a 1/2 ton with a 350 from 1981-86 except K10 in California (and other states) in certain years.

My 1983 K10 truck from factory came with 305 and 700r4.

My 86 Silverado k10 had an original 305ci and 700r4. Ditched it for a 350ci, and did some mods to the 700r4. The 305 was a wimp.
