I have been looking for years on ebay for a good correct dash bezel for my 79 K-10. I finally found one, and painted it with the correct silver inlay area. Came out better than I hoped.

Pardon my French, HOLY ****!! Man! That looks great! How the hell did you mask off all that black in between?

Great question. Between the panels, I rolled small tubes made of masking tape, sticky side out. Grooves around the gauges, I used heavy cotton string, then masked over the hole. All the raised edges I painted by hand with a car painters touch up brush that has a small fuzzy ball on the tip.

That turned out great!! I did something similar, I painted my ratty bezel all black, then vinyl wrapped it with wood grain. Nothing wrong with making the most out of what you have!
