Dana 44 identification

Hey guys, I am trying to identify what year my Dana 44 front is. Truck is an 82 short wheelbase that somebody switched the axles on. It's stamped 44 but i cannot find bill of meterials numbers or dates on either tube. It does have external locking hubs but that's all I know about it. Thanks in Advance!

Just to verify, there wasn't a long number on the long tube? It should be stamped in an MMDDYYYY style with numbers following it.

Nope, no numbers in long tube. Not sure why.
