I have been reading threads about lowering and I see that everybody says to only cut one coil. I's like to know why only one? Will there be problems with cutting 2? I know it will make the ride stiffer but is there any other reasons?
This is 2 full coils cut, stock front shocks, rear flip and 2 inch drop shackles. Relocated upper shock perch for the rear shocks and used stock length front shocks all around. Planning to bag it in January, but it handles well and tracks straight even without any adjustment to the camber or steering linkage as is.

Lowered coils are so cheap now I would just get one that is built to lower and at least that way you are not messing with the performance of it through the entire range of motion. I had a buddy that chopped coils on a mustang 2 in high school and I am pretty sure in this day and age it's the source of numerous back problems I have, lol.

Thanks, I have mine done now and I cut 2 coils also. I have not driven it yet because it is pretty much all tore apart and has no exhaust at this time. I just did the rear flip and no shackles, everything else is factory and that may have to be changed but for now this is how it looks
