I found this forum a few weeks ago when I was looking for the pin out for my Vss cluster swap in my cucv. I figured I should write a hello post. I've had my cucv for about 14 years and it's been a forever project like most trucks. It started out as a stock cucv then I lifted it with a rear shackle flip put four inch springs up front added zero rates springs on each corner, crossover steering with hydro assist. I kept it that was for a long time then I hurt the 6.2 in it and decided to put a 5.3 in the truck.
I picked up a 4l80 and had it rebuilt to go with new engine. I was almost done with my swap and I had a bad car wreck and my daily rig was hit by a truck. My daily was a escalade so I pulled the 6.0 from it and put it in my Cucv. I'm in the process of restoring the interior at the moment new weather seals and jute padding and a new vinyl floor mat, a new seat cover and foam will come later.
