Does anyone know if there are any advantages to a 14 bolt Full Float CUCV Rear Axle housing over any other 1 ton or 3/4 ton axle housings? I happen to have a bare housing. I've taken the rear disc brake conversion off of it, the carrier and R&P have also been removed so when I say it's just a bare housing, that's exactly what it is. I mean, the pinion is still in it, but it was a chipped ring gear and I kept the carrier and locker for another project. Just wondering if it's scrap or if there is any value to it.
