The knowledge I learn from this will make me a super moderator lol

When these headers were on the Chevelle it was column shift. Then I did floor shift and console. What part did they hit on your truck? @bucket dont you have A body headers in your truck?

I don't know exactly what they are. They seem to be for '68 and up Nova and are Hedman brand. They might be the same application for A-body, I don't remember. But anywho, the driver side header interfered with the shifter linkage. All I had to do was bend the arm around a bit and adjust the rod and it works great. I've got pics somewhere.

Also, even truck headers can hit the linkage. I put a cable shifter in my Burb because of it, but that's a small block.

I thought so. Slight mods and they will work it’s a header thing.
