Not sure if this is the right forum to use, but have a choke question. My 83 GMC C2500 with engine code 350M currently has a rigged up electric choke setup. What type of choke would have been original, would it have used a choke stove in the intake manifold? Engine is a replacement with replacement Quadrajet.
Had my truck been originally equipped with an electric choke, where would the relay have been located? I'm guessing the current location, zip-tied near the back of the air cleaner, is not original. I'm having trouble locating the relay on the 1983 wiring diagram/schematic.
