I am the original owner of a 1979 C10 Heavy-Half, short-bed (2wd) Custom Deluxe.
The truck is in immaculate condition. It's been restored recently to include a new Blue-Print 383 Stroker and 700R4 Transmission (~10k miles on both). Other than this, the truck is fairly original. I did replace the bench seat with leather buckets and center console, as well as upholstered the door panels. Its been well maintained, always garage kept, and regularly driven (~1500 mi/yr). It even has the original Owners Manual and Window Sticker !
I don't have any idea how much to ask for the truck. I'm not gonna give it away, but am not interested in taking advantage of anyone either.
That said, any ideas what the value range is for a very nice classic square-body truck (original owner) ?
And, any ideas how and where to market this for best visibility ?
I'm from New Mexico (as is the truck, never been out of the state), but won't market it here. Most the locals are broke as a joke !
As an aside, see the attached pics for an initial glimpse.
Thanks for any help you can provide !
