A lot of you guys helped me out with an overheating problem originating from a bad water pump seal and I thank those of who you helped me out. I now have a new problem.
My truck will at times, seemingly random, misfire. The carb misfires when it’s cold and I get on it - but this thing is different and happens all the time under all conditions.
It’s a thumping noise coming from the engine, and it seems to be in tune (accelerates/decelerates) with the RPM’s. It also makes a huge loss in power.
Does anyone have any ideas what it could be?
