Hello,

Since adding the new headers and exhaust, I have noticed the truck misfires/afterfires a bit until it warms up. When I did the exhaust a few weeks ago, I also replaced the plugs with NGK Plats and put on new plug wires. To my surprise, the old plugs showed normal wear (a good thing for older vehicles).

I am thinking maybe the ICM is having trouble, but I'm not getting any other symptoms. I am uncertain how old the cap, rotor and coil is. The truck has good power. It doesn't hesitate or anything under load.

Any ideas as to where to start looking? Thanks!

I may have fixed this. Found a loose wire on the cap. Seemed to run smoother at cold idle then before.
