This is a shot in the dark...

I've been hassling over the clutch in my 87 R30. The bleeding is not going well. So, i'm out today to replace a couple of items. I need to pick up a new bleeder for the slave cylinder. Anyone happen to know the standard size required?

I left the damn thing on my workbench... I thought it might have been 10mm.

I think manufacturers may differ. You can pick up a variety pack quite cheap though, otherwise you'll need to know more than just the head size. Could be M8x1.0 or could be standard thread...

Eh, well, i ended up doing a low pressure reverse bleed on the clutch system with my motive pressure bleeder attached to the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder. I was finally able to get some pedal, but i'm not exactly thrilled with it. If it's not raining tonight i'll remove the slave and do what they tell you to do in the GM Goodwrench manual... twist to 45 degrees and bleed.

I'm not a fan of this hydro clutch setup.

Awww...that sucks. Reverse was a great idea and usually works too. Good luck with it....
