So yesterday, I picked this up from a seller on Craigslist. Ive always wanted a 60s impala SS so this might be my only chance to own a piece of one. I’m thinking that I will put it on the garage wall for show and I’m gonna start a collection. What classic part do you have to SHOW?

Aside from a variety of license plates, i have a whole wall of hub caps and shift knobs, also have 2 mint 74 chevy grills, a couple old 50s 293 corvette valve covers, a 60s impala back set speaker covers, a NHRA drag car parachute popper, an old tonka dump truck, an old block and tackle set, an really old Radio, some old oil cans, a couple hot wheels that i find at junkyards, and a few random weapons hidden umongst then for just incase.

I would think that console would be worth a ton to the right person.

A month ago at a local car show there was a 66 Impala. Not the normal run of the mill 66. Black, 2 dr, COPO 427, SS, 4 speed. Of all the cars there I liked that one the best.

Anyway, not as flashy as your part. This is a NOS set of 30 over rod bearings from Holman and Moody for a Boss 429. They are different than regular 429 bearings.

Okay collections, well I have too many. Here is a collection that took a life time to build, but they took up too much room so I sold them, even my favorite ones went.

Ayden said oil cans, how about grease cans:

Left over from parents Auto Wreckers in the 60’s. Took me about 4 years to track down all the glass lenses to fill all the spots. Garage art now.

Pre WWII I would say, and the first few years postwar when the companies still had older models they were selling while developing the new cars and trucks. I recognize the Chevron is '40 Ford, the teardrop is '39 Ford. The oblong one in the middle, with slightly tapering ends, is '41-48 Chevy car. If you can enlarge the picture a bunch you may be able to read the others.

I started collecting old oil cans a few years ago. In the pics below all of the quart cans are unopened and almost all are steel. This includes the 5 quart Mobiloil can in the center of the one photo.

I opened and poured many of those Quaker State cans. I had an Invader grease can in my collection. One of my favorites with the knight on the horse.
