Hi everyone, I have a 1986 c1500.
It has just been professionally lowered with the proper drip spindles,
When looking at the front of the truck the drivers side says lower then the passenger side, making it look terrible,
Anybody have any ideas on where I should start?
Thanks

Is that everywhere you park it? I had one like that and it bugged the hell outta me. One day I backed into the driveway an noticed it was leaning the other way. It wasn't the truck it was my driveway. The lean is somewhat common, but if you're replaced all those parts with the lowering, then it should all be new and level I'd think. Did they cut your springs? Maybe 1 spring got cut a bit lower than the other, or it was a weaker spring.

Yes I had it on a 100 percent level floor indoors and checked with level,
They did not cut my springs however they are one of very few items that have not been replaced, so just curious to know if that would be where I should start replacing with new springs.

If you are sure your garage floor is level and true (and BTW, most of them aren't) you can measure the frame and body height at several places on both sides. Then you'll know if it leans and how much. It will also tell you if it's the suspension, frame or body mounts. Sometimes it's just a crooked bumper.

Make sure your l&r tires have the same air pressure.

Soooo then, check the clocking of the springs on BOTH sides. Meaning, make sure they're sitting properly in their cups right. I've seen where someone has replaced lower ball joints and didn't get the spring setting right and it made 1 side sit higher than the other.

I'm getting ready to have to change my lower control arm on my C20 but it's the same exact principle as the C10's. If I remember, I'll take a pic of the spring setting in the lower control arm spring cup and then you'd know exactly what I mean.

If after that it's still not right, then you either need to get new springs or a fat girlfriend.

Have you thought about adopting a giant dog that rides shotgun? Probably still wouldn't weigh enough, you would still need a couple bags of sand in the bed. Did it lean before the front end work or is this a recent occurrence? As mentioned above maybe they're just not seated properly after the work.

Back when I dropped mine, it made a lean that I barely noticed at stock height look pretty terrible. I swapped rear leafs side to side and I was good to go. Couldn't beat the cost either.
