And BTW, not trying to muddy up the thread, but staying on topic of hoists at hand for the moment, but I have used my hoist for so many things, I can't be wo one now. I use it to load and lift beds off trucks and cabs, rear ends from CL buys or sells, ATV jack, seperated a tractor once with the rear hanging from the hoist, and the front on a floor jack to install a dual clutch, I even used it to pull out broken fence posts in concrete. It sucks digging out broken fence posts in concrete. So the trick is, use a chain around the concrete portion with very little digging, then lift straight up choking the concrete with the hoist and you have a nice clean hole (shutup Retro) to put your fence post and new concrete in without having to rebury the dirt. I won't be without one, ever, even if it does have to sit in the backyard, WITH THE RAM fully inside the bottle with oil so it don't rust. Always be sure to lower the jack to lowest possible height for storage purpose, especially outside.
