California emissions removal help

Hello everyone I acquired a 78 k20 with a 350 Chevy and catalytic converters I live in a state where I do not need emissions and smog to pass inspection can someone tell me what I need to keep the truck has a manual transmission with a heat riser choke any help would be great

even if you live in a state where vehicles aren't tested removing any emissions device is illegal. There are many threads here asking how to fix fuel smells and drivability problems after emission parts were yanked off. On a 78 most of them have no effect on performance.
