I see pictures (sixth sense voice)

Do they know they are pictures?

(Lol)

I can see them on my phone; doesn't change my response though.

Chegny - it might be best if you didn't let people know you have those in your possession (if you do in fact).

I see pics but I think Chegny has just cut and pasted those photos online from somewhere else. :eek:Right Jerry? I am positive that he has no remote idea about changing or altering a Vin. :)

Moving along now...:emotions33:

Certain individuals have cut a portion of the surrounding metal out with the VIN tag, do the same on the new cab and tack weld it in place, since it is hard to replicate the patina of 30+ years on the rivets. Once the dash pad is in you can't tell it was altered. But HIGHLY illegal. If caught it would definitely be considered a stolen vehicle and since the paperwork wouldn't back up the transfer it would look really bad. Depending on a certain individual's welding skills the same thing could be done with the frame VIN, and skillful grinding/painting/undercoating would conceal the criminal activity even better...

Actually no I wouldn't lol never done it never had to. But I have heard of people buying VIN tags and they would want the surrounding metal because it was too hard to get the special star rivets to put it in.
