I can answer the last part of your question. LMC lists one kit for 73-87 trucks.

The reason I ask is the dealership has zero information, I don’t have any parts breakdowns of the whole body style period. I’ve read the LMC Truck order book, but there’s no sizes. Thanks though.

When I order my cab bolts from LMC for my 73 the bolts they sent me where just a 1/2 X 4 bolt I could have got at any hardware store

I just bought the kit from LMC for an 85 and the bolts were flange head 1/2-13 by 3 1/2" long. Your 79 will have longer bolts for the rear 2 cab mounts if its a 4wd or 3/4 ton. I believe they are a 1/2-13 by 5" long
