Anyone know if I can take an '80 C30 4 speed cab and swap it to an '80 K30? I have a column for auto, just not sure how much difference in the trans tunnel. Looking at pictures, the C30 does have the removable tunnel like a K30. Found a rust free cab :)jawdrop:), trying to figure out if I can mod it to my K30 rust bucket.

I think it will work no problem as long as you swap your K30 tunnel over... I've seen various posts on this subject and I think it is a bolt over swap between the two tunnels. I've never done it personally though, so YMMV

Agree with above but depends on the year the later trucks aren't bolt in humps. Have to cut the old one out and swap. The 4 speed 2 wheel drive trucks got the taller tunnel if I remember what ive read correctly.

Cab is 150 miles away...whole truck actually, that's why trying to figure out before I go the distance with a car trailer. It is a 1980 C30 dually, was 454, 4 speed. Mine is 1980 K30 350, automatic. Both are A/C cabs.
This is the C30.

The difference is usually at the rear of the hump. The 4x4 version meets up to a bigger hump in the floor, under the seat. Nothing a little sheetmetal work can't fix.

I swapped my c30 cab onto a k30 chassis. My c30 floor was not removable but it was easy to cut it out with a jigsaw and a couple metal blades. Apparently I should have saved the hump behind the cover from the other cab. :uhoh2:
