I have this buzzing that seems to be coming from the passenger side of my carb/or valve somewhere.. When I leave the truck sit overnight the buzzing goes away, only for a few minutes though, then the sound magically reappears. Does it when I am at idle, in park, 1,2,3,OD etc... When I accelerate from 0-55 the sound goes away when climbing speeds, but once I stay at a steady pace the sound comes back? Any ideas guys?

Is that the CCC carb setup? I remember a valve in mine doing that in my old Malibu.

It's been years since I played with them. Should be an o2 sensor in one of the exhaust manifolds. Carb should have a couple of electrical plugs off the harness.

Would that "mc solenoid" possibly be the "Dual Capacity Pump"? If my truck were to have that.

No, dual capacity pump is just a fancy accell pump, MC solenoid pulses the main metering rods.

Another thing is sometimes it starts the moment I hit the gas pedal... If I start without gas it seems to be good, but a low idle, so I hit the gas and it comes on?

Yep, no prime shot, and it takes a few seconds for the idle circuit to catch up.

So the truck has been driving for the past 2 days like this, I am guessing it isn't a big problem, other than maybe affecting my MPG
