For any of you who may be in or near the Billings Mt. area Labor Day weekend, there's an event here called Burn the Point. It's just a car cruise through the downtown area and it draws huge numbers of cars, (classic and newer, import and domestic), and crowds lining the streets to check out the rides.
Your car doesn't even need to be cherry to be in it either, it just needs to run. How cool is that? I believe it costs $10 to enter your car or truck, but I can look into it to make sure. I think this year my wife, daughter and I are going to enter my 72 Pontiac Ventura II. So if you come to town on Sat., September 4th and you see a faded Gold Ventura with a primer grey passenger fender, that's us and my go-buggy.
