Burb Rear AC TXV bulb mount

What am I supposed to do with the expansion valve for the rear ac? I have a new one, but it is a bit different than the original. How does the coil mount to the line? Do I just clamp it to the side of it, or is it supposed to coil around the line?

The original looks like this:

What did you end up doing here? I'd guess you just clamp it to the line similar to how the original was.

If i remember correctly, I coiled/clamped on mine. Have to check if there any pictures when I redid the whole system

Just clamped it for now. But I need to figure out my ac charging problem first, and then I will be ordering the ac delco replacement style and replacing with that when I evacuate the system again.

Be sure to post up what you find wrong with the rear air. I'm 80% certain I know where parts of it are at, and 90% certain I know where other parts of it are at, but I kept most of the rear air components off a 91 Burb with rear air. Including the long hoses. The other part I have, is the condensing coil part with the blower. I wish my **** wasn't so damn scattered in different locations. I'd know where everything is then, but I moved recently and stuff went everywhere.
