Thanks my truck is titled as a 84 just thought it looked out of place with 2 sets of signal lights.

Yeah, I thought the trucks with lights in the bumper usually had quad headlights. Probably swapped the bumper or grill/ headlight away at some point.

It had no grill when I bought it, I found the grill on Craigslist so I could get a grill for an 84 but maybe put fog lights in the bumper or the grill we will see, just put the running gear out of an 87 it it yesterday, we will see a lot to do before working on looks. Thanks for your help, I spent a little time trying to find a picture of a square body with the bumper I have no luck.

The early redesign squares from 81 and 82 had turns in the bumper. By 84 if you wanted turns in the bumper you had to do it yourself.
Which turn signals work?

I like those bumpers. Lmc sells them too. I saw them in their catalog and they weren't very expensive iirc. Good for You!

My 82 K5 has the turn signals in the bumper, my 83 k5 and 87 r10 are in the grill.
All are Silverado with quad headlights.
It is harder to find the 81-82 bumpers. I see the smooth ones all of the time.
You could go with fog lights.

Ok, which are wired up? Should of been the question.
Basically did the po just slap on a bumper or did they wire them to work as well?

Either way just a matter of putting a bulb in with the wires attached I could probably get both sets working, not sure which way I will go I have access to another bumper but I kind of like to keep people guessing on What year is it kind of like the song Johnny Cash sang about his Cadillac be built one piece at a time.
