I've always been a Chevy square body fan a little over a year ago me and my 10 year old boy started are 1984 crew cab build the 1st pic is my original truck 2nd pic is donor truck last pic is how it sets today

Welcome to the site. I also love the old CC trucks.

So the second truck is a donor? Are you going to use the dually wheel wells? I'd be interested in the red marker lights if they are not cracked and in good shape.

Yes the white cc was the donor truck sorry I sold the the parts off it it didn't use but I'll keep my eyes open for the part your looking for

Thanks its been lots of fun now it fix the bed kinda a neat story on bed my grandpa passed away 2 years ago and driving around were I live I found his old truck from years ago and guy traded me my flatbed for the blue bed I thought it's kinda cool to finish my truck with part of my gramps truck

Welcome. I wish I had started where you started. When I go to hunting camp by myself I can't stop at walmart or nothin'......my crap would get stolen outta the back. Since the first trip in my K10, I've been lookin' at the CC and the burbs.

Keep us posted, maybe start a build thread as many others have done. We like pics.

He's 10 and has also told me when he turns 16 that he wants the truck.he was nice enough to say I could drive it some times lol. I also have to give a shout out to my dad I'm 42 as a kid me and my brother helped my dad out on his 57 big window Chevy truck that he still has to this day I credit my love for rigs to that my brother is the same way 5 years ago he came across one of my 1st rigs and it's almost completely restored now 66 bronco I know it's a Ford but there cool anyway

Also have to say bronco was done every bolt rollcage paint ect by my brother and everything on 57 besides paint my dad did
