Ok i bought a brand new blower motor from lmc truck. I got it in and it came on but it sounded like it was rubbing on something. so i pulled it back out, and checked it but couldnt see where so i put it back in and same thing happened. So i pulled it again!! And when i put it in this time. It doesnt come on at all just a quiet clunking noise. Im pulling my hair out on this. Could someone try and tell me whats wrong?

I would pull it out and run it off a batt. on the bench and see what it does , then you will know if the motor is good.

Just touch the ground wire on the case somewhere like one of the screw holes.

I'd send it back. I remember there was a thread on here where a blower motor off a 91-94 gmt400 would work better(move more air), and would be a direct fit. I can't seem to find it though.

I dont know what the hell is wrong with it. Could the capacitor be bad and not fluctating the volts correctly to yhe blower? Or could the switch be bad?

Did you have it indexed correctly? There is a locating pin on the housing that must line up with the hole on the fan mounting flange. If you were one screw off (either CW or CCW) the fan would be cocked and not center in the hole through the firewall.

When you tightened it up - maybe you bent the shaft (or the fan blading) enough to cause it to seize?

I am not explaining this well - maybe this will help:
