I have a 77 Chevy K10 Stepside. My drivers side brake light keeps going out. I have to replace the bulb every few months. I replaced it with an LED bulb last time hoping it would last longer. The assembly is only a couple years old from LMC. I'm wondering if there is a short somewhere or a faulty assembly from LMC. Anybody else had an issue like this?

Does the bulb fit tight in the socket?
One of my brake lights would occasionally stop working due to negligible sloppy fit.

It's possible to force the bulb in backwards.

Please don't ask me how I know.
