who here has set up one in their square? looking to do this in my truck. already have directionals and breaklights but would love you have brakes. lol. how did you guys set themup? thanks

If its a brake controller your talking about. Then there simple to hook up.
Theres 4 wires

Black: Goes to Battery POSITIVE
Blue: Goes to the trailer plug at the rear of the truck.
Red: Goes to the output wire on your brake switch
White: Goes to Battery negative.



edit: sorry was reversed on the white and red wire, i fixed it

Why is red and black reversed?

Trailer brake systems are positive ground i believe that way when you ground the vehicle brake it powers up the trailer brakes and applies them.

where have you guys mounted your brake controllers? nextthing on the list is a better motor lol

alot of people mount them low on the dash in front of there knees. I have mine mounted underneith the ashtray, Mine is a fancy digital controller that displays gain, and trouble codes so i like to actually be able to see the display but still be able to reach the manual brake lever when needed.
